Il Museo Rossini
During his stay in Paris, the Belgian musician and composer Edmond Michotte (1831-1914) became a close friend of Gioachino Rossini (1792-1868). Despite the difference of age between them, a solid friendship arose. In 1870, two years after the death of Rossini, Michotte returned to his native country. His luggage contained a unique collection of Rossiniana.
